Echinocereus texensis, commonly known as the Horse Crippler Cactus, is a low-growing, flat-topped barrel cactus native to the southwestern United States, particularly Texas, and northern Mexico. It's characterized by its stout, claw-like spines and vibrant pink or magenta flowers that appear in a ring around its woolly top.
