Opuntia trichophora 'Red Teddy'
The name of this variety refers to the red-tinged spines, not the flowers which are actually light yellow, fading to a baby pink. Teddy Bears are compact, well behaved plants that develop shaggy, hairlike spines which grow longer as they age. The overall effect is similar to that of Opuntia Grizzly Bear, but much hardier.
