This is a very heavily flowering cactus, smothered with intensely reddish-pink blooms in late spring. The flower colour is closest to red of any O. fragilis variety we have grown. Pads are small, oblong, and extremely lightly attached, so the the slightest touch or agitation can cause them to detach. An excellent landscape plant.
